than 75 years, with its MOZART brand of high quality
industrial blades and razor blades. Thanks to its long
years of experience in blade production, and its continous
drive towards innovation and improvement, Steinbrück
& Drucks has become one of the world’s leading
manufacturers of high quality blades.
At the 1. September 2000 Steinbrück & Drucks
changed into MOZART AG. For our company a great step
but nothing will change for our customers: The proved
quality of our industrial blades is still the same.
Today we supply an extensive and unique line of products,
ranging from our widely used carpet cutter blades for
professional installers, to individual customized products
for industrial customers MOZART always has the right
blade for cutting, seperating, perforating – for
almost any application – regardless of how demanding
it may be.
MOZART AG has provided leadership in the industry by
constantly striving to improve both the manufacturing
process and the quality of its products, by pushing
the frontier of new development. Some examples of this
are the use of fully automated grinding control through
laser cameras; titanium hard-coating for the severest
cutting demands; or our Allegro® series of universal
knives for professional trades. These represent but
a few of our high performance products.

its cost-effective mass production on fully automated
lines, MOZART offers quality you can see. We produce
blades and knives for even the highest demands. For
example, with special grinds, special materials and
refined surface treatments, we have considerably extended
blade life. Longer blade life naturally translates
to higher performance and greater cost effectiveness.
All areas of our quality management system are being
continously improved. Thus we naturally utilize the
latest technologies in production and process control.
Our own integrated laboratory supports all work stages,
from receipt of purchased materials to the checking
of finished product – everything is done at MOZART
with the greatest care.
The continous improvement of these high quality standards
– which naturally also fulfill the requirements
of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 – means that staff training
is now also a decisive competitive factor. Only people
who possess special knowledge and who understand and
