CUT. - 01.2023 - MOZART blades partner information

Dear MOZART friends and business partners,

2023 is a special year for us because Mozart AG was founded exactly 100 years ago - albeit under a much less catchy name at the time, see article. Many exciting things are happening at our company in this anniversary year, and we would like to give you an initial overview of them in this issue of our newsletter.

Next week, BAU in Munich, the world's largest trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, will start. We would be delighted to meet as many of you as possible there and take the opportunity to toast our anniversary.

Here's to a colourful 2023!

TRADE FAIR. PRODUCTS.

BAU 2023. EVO.

¡viva la  evolución!

Finally the time has come again: after 4 years of abstinence the BAU will take place in Munich from April 17th - 22nd, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, building materials and building systems. Of course MOZART will be there again with a booth.

Just in time MOZART presents an exciting new product:
the EVO utility knife, which will celebrate its premiere at the fair.

With a perfected shape, high robustness, clever features and an attractive price, our EVO has a good chance to become a real hot-seller. Even the included holster offers technical finesses that have never been seen before.

Curious?
Click here for the product flyer or even better: visit us at BAU 2023 (Hall A5/523).
We are looking forward to seeing you!

INSIDE.

Mozart starts the anniversary year.

Great events cast their shadows ahead: Mozart celebrates its 100th company anniversary this year!

100 years MOZART

Founded in 1923 under the tongue twisting name "Steinbrück & Drucks" as a factory for the production of razor blades, Mozart has become since the 1950s one of the world's leading producers of high-quality blades and knives for industry and crafts. We will celebrate the anniversary year in a fitting manner with several campaigns throughout the year.

We will kick off in April at the BAU trade fair in Munich, where we will present our new EVO knife. Our celebrations will then pick up speed in the summer - we will keep you informed!

INSIDE.

Dr. Thorsten Birk

Dr. Thorsten Birk appointed to the Executive Board of MOZART AG.

Greeting from our CEO Sebastian Schlipköter

Dear readers of our newsletter,

Today I have the pleasure of informing you that our Managing Director Technology, Dr. Thorsten Birk, will join MOZART AG as a full member of the Executive Board as of April 1, 2023. His responsibility covers the entire area of technology at our company, including the affiliated area of research and development.

The owner family and the Supervisory Board would like to express their sincere thanks for the consistently positive cooperation over the past years and acknowledge the good results of his work, his commitment and his high level of identification with the company.
Dr. Birk has very quickly and conscientiously settled into the role of technical director and is looking forward to the challenge this entails.

It is also a great pleasure for me personally to have such a professional and emphatic sparring partner at my side in the further development of MOZART AG. Together, we are committed to our employees, customers and suppliers on a daily basis with the aim of driving the MOZART project forward in the long term.

Yours sincerely from the city of blades,

Sebastian Schlipköter

PRODUCTION.

Turned inside out - upgrading the Mozart stamping shop.

We are excited to present our latest upgrade in manufacturing: In addition to our state-of-the-art stamping technology, we have also simultaneously upgraded our automated peripherals to ensure that we can continue to meet your needs effectively and efficiently.

The new equipment integrates seamlessly with our existing machinery and ensures even greater accuracy, detail and effective production of your desired blades. In addition, we offer our employees not only a modern infrastructure, but also the possibility of now being able to operate any system without any problems thanks to the identical operability of all presses.

SUSTAINABILITY.

MOZART goes green - photovoltaic system goes online.

At Mozart AG, we have always attached great importance to making our production as innovative and environmentally friendly as possible. Now we have implemented another important initiative to make our production even more sustainable.

Photovoltaik

We are proud to present our brand new photovoltaic installation on our factory premises in Solingen. Thanks to this new facility, we can now source our own energy from renewable sources.

We are aware that industrial manufacturing processes often have a reputation for being harmful to the environment. However, our commitment to sustainability and our modern production methods prove that things can be done differently. We therefore attach great importance to positioning ourselves as a producer in the field of environmentally friendly blades and would like to show our customers that they do not have to sacrifice quality in order to obtain a sustainably manufactured MOZART product.

On the contrary: we believe that environmental protection and first-class products can and must go hand in hand!
