NO PLASTICS!

Every second, two truckloads of plastic packaging end up in our oceans. To-go cups, disposable tableware, food and other product packaging. 
Plastic is an integral part of our everyday lives - but a large amount is not that difficult to avoid. We have taken a first step and banned plastics from all our product packaging. Instead, we now use cardboard packaging with a high recycled content. This mainly affects our handle range, but also the range of blades and handles designed for point-of-sale, which were previously offered in blister packaging. 

In accordance with the new EU regulation, each new packaging contains a reference to the packaging material used and also a QR code that provides easy access to further recycling information. Just give it a try.

Handy and practical - Mozart's new 9 mm cutter blade

In addition to the common snap-off blades with the standard width of 18 mm, the narrower 9 mm cutter blades are also very popular - especially for applications where a slim, manoeuvrable, robust and versatile knife is required.

For this versatile segment, Mozart naturally has the corresponding segmented blades in its range - and now also a new snap-off knife.

The handle of the 4096.00, made of lacquered die-cast aluminium, fits well in the hand and is equipped with a practical fastening clip. A special locking mechanism protects the blade from being pulled out - e.g. during cutting - and pushed in, up to a load of 10 kg. By means of a notch on the back of the handle, the individual segments of the blades can be broken off without risk of injury.

The knife is supplied with a standard 9 mm snap-off blade (item number 91.040). However, the knife can also be used with the more pointed 93.040 blade (segments with 30° angle).

Send the bad cut to the mat!

Whether for hobby or professional use, Mozart's precision knives and blades are the guarantee for perfect, professional cutting quality. We now also offer a cutting mat with the red Mozart logo to match our fine-cutting range - because precise cutting needs a high-quality base.

The mat in the format 45 x 30 cm with a thickness of 3 mm has a 10 mm auxiliary grid on both sides. The surface is self-healing, which means the cut line closes again, becomes invisible and does not hinder a further cut along the same line. The elastic surface softens the cut, which preserves the sharpness of the blade and protects the surface of the table or worktop from damage.
